meet sarah and danny – they are friends with not one, but two of the couples i’ve gotten to know and shoot their weddings (hi katie, rob, gina and david!!) we’ve had fun on the dance floor together, but it was really great to spend time with them, swap family stories and have some big laughs. sarah is a photog too – click here to check out her work – can’t wait to meet their sweet baby girl!

Maternity Photography ~ Lake Forest Park ~ Marina & Michael
I met up with Marina and her hubby Michael at Log Boom Park for an afternoon stroll. I love the mellowness (is that a word?…it is now) of pregnant ladies…we just hung out for a while and enjoyed the warm breeze, soft grass and the killer lens flare. It was a lovely time together – can’t wait to meet their little one soon!

Birth Photography ~ Bellevue ~ Cindy & Allen’s baby boy is born
Cindy contacted me a couple months ago about birth photography – she saw her friend Judy’s birth photos that I took last year and wanted to make sure the birth of her first child was documented. This little boy is beautiful and Cindy was amazing during the whole process. I am beyond honored to have been there – all I can say is wow.
I got photos of every stage of his delivery for her – such an amazing thing to witness…

Sallie and Ashley are expecting their first baby in April and they are waiting ’till the baby arrives to find out whether they are having a boy or girl (love it!). This family is so mellow and sweet and Sallie’s smile is just absolutely infectious. I can’t wait to meet their new little kiddo!

Josh and Sarah are simply ‘salt of the earth’, amazing human beings. I have been so honored to be present for their big events this year. They were married on the beach in Lake Tahoe back in June and just two days ago, I got to be there when baby Harper was born (pictures coming soon!) The look of bliss on Josh’s faces is priceless isn’t it?

i see the belly ~ The Gordons
Nicole and I have been chatting for months about her growing belly bump (they call it ‘bub’) and I was SO excited to get to meet her and Gordo. They are from Australia and may not live here in Seattle much longer, so they wanted to get some shots with the needle and the skyline. We started our day in their home with their sweet pup and then headed downtown. Saturday was supposed to be sunny and warm – we had dry skies, but it was downright cold at the Seattle Center and Alki beach. Nicole and Gordo braved the wind like champs though! I can’t wait to meet their ‘bub’ (only 5 more weeks!) and am so glad to have met these new friends. The bare belly shots are just for them, but here are some of my other faves from the day…
