bellevue birth photography ~ overlake hospital ~ baby ece
baby ece came unexpectedly last saturday at overlake hospital – i got there just as mom and baby came out of their c-section. she is just beautiful and mom was tired, but so so so happy. the opportunity to witness the beginning of a baby’s life is really so amazing!

Newborn Photography ~ Renton ~ Baby Delilah is born!
I got to meet the beautiful Miss Delilah and her surprisingly well-rested parents when she was just 10 days old. Can I just say that this little one only solidified further for me that I want more kids?! My friend Rachel calls it “baby rabies” and I’ve got it for sure! This ball of sweetness is the niece of Miranda and Eric, a fave wedding couple from last year…Miranda made the super cute artwork for her nursery walls!

Getting to spend time with the amazing Erica & Audrey and getting to snuggle with their baby boy last week was just what the ‘doctor ordered’! This kiddo is all kinds of cute and to see the joy (and exhaustion) of new motherhood just solidified once again how much I’m ready to give Lily a sibling. Babies…good.

Ok, so isn’t Patrick just about the CUTEST kid ever?!? I know a lot of babies have blue eyes, but I’m telling you that this kid’s eyes are just amazingly blue and so full of joy! Meeting him and hanging out with his cool mama and papa was really big fun for me. Heidi and Tim are good friends of Brooke and Derek – one of my most favorite wedding couples ever. What a great way to start the holiday season – can’t wait ’till we hang out again!

It’s the night before Thanksgiving and all through my house…is the sound of a four year old girl gleefully playing with her babies while her mama works on photos of two of THE CUTEST boys ever! I thought a ‘sneak peek’ for their mamas and papas would be a cool thing to do…

Newborn Photography ~ San Diego ~ Charlie
While in San Diego last week, I got to go meet Charlie – the coolest kid east of Lake Hodges. He is the new love of Chad and Trish and he is truly a sweet little ball ‘o yum. Trish and I have been friends since junior high, but the truth is that our connection as adults has been amazing. I absolutely adore her and am so thrilled for the happiness that I’ve seen come to her in the last few years. LOVE YOU!
Cricket is Trish’s first born – she’s such a sweet pup…
I took a few shots of Trish while she fed Charlie – she called me in closer to catch his “milk-alcholic” face…
While Trish and I were in the other room, Chad and Lily went to pick lemons from the tree and together they made lemonade! I thought it was awesome that he had a monkey cup for her to drink from and the lemonade was yummy. He will be (is) a great dad!

Birth Photography ~ Bellevue ~ Cindy & Allen’s baby boy is born
Cindy contacted me a couple months ago about birth photography – she saw her friend Judy’s birth photos that I took last year and wanted to make sure the birth of her first child was documented. This little boy is beautiful and Cindy was amazing during the whole process. I am beyond honored to have been there – all I can say is wow.
I got photos of every stage of his delivery for her – such an amazing thing to witness…

Sarah & Josh are such amazing people. The love they have for each other is palpable (check out some of the photos from their wedding last year). I have been so blessed to be there for their wedding, the birth of their daughter and now getting to spend some time watching her grow. She is three months old now and just the most curious, little ball of awesome. My love for the Funstons just continues to grow…

Anyone remember this belly session a few months ago??? Well that sweet bump is now a three month old ball of sweetness named Harper Rae! She is basically made of awesome, dipped in honey and then rolled in rainbow sprinkles. I just had to pull out this shot from our time today – there will be a ton more to come…
