Just a couple quick things about me...I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream. I have the most awesome five year old on the planet. I'm a hugger, a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.

meet abigail, jill, grace and jeff…jeff was the best man in marisa & adam’s wedding that i shot last summer and their ‘thank you’ gift to him was a session with me! jill was 9 mos pregnant at the time, so they thought they’d wait until baby abigail was a little bit older and the weather was a little bit warmer. we had an amazing day and this family is just as amazing…

caden makes the best ‘boo boo’ lip ever. you may remember this sweet boy from a few months ago when his mama’s family was visiting. well, his daddy’s folks were in town this time and we all met for some fun amongst the blossom trees.

meet baby K…jennifer and kevin’s sweet little girl! you’ll remember their belly session a few weeks back – well, i got to meet this sweetness just a few days ago…such amazing eyes and she was wide awake for almost the whole session! can’t wait to watch this little firecracker grow up!

meet caden…his auntie and uncle came to visit from toronto and his grandparents came all the way from taiwan! they decided to have a celebratory dinner for grandma & grandpa’s birthdays and invited me over to document it…such fun and they made the yummiest sweet potato fries!

meet anna – this sweet little one is the baby sister of ava, whose birth i got to photograph three years ago (almost to the day!) – this was such a cool experience…same birthing center room, midwife, doula and then big sister ava came to visit just about an hour after anna was born…amazing…

it’s december 31st and i’ve been thinking about putting together a year end blog post for a few weeks now…this year was so full of fun and i am so grateful for the poignant moments that people have let me photograph. i can’t express my gratitude for such an amazing year, so i’ll just show you a few (cough, em, well 85…) images that stood out to me…hope you enjoy…if you can hang in there until the end there is a photo of my kid (she’s totally worth it.)

i had so much fun hanging out with lauren and her men last week – they were having a big party that night and making potato latkes for 25+ – we spend a little time out in front of their house goofing off before heading in a getting to some serious potato work!

here’s miss ava…she’s going to have a baby sister next month and is so excited to see baby anna! i had the amazing pleasure of photographing ava’s birth almost 3 years ago and am really looking forward to being there when baby anna makes her debut…so excited!
