i see you, now you see me! Hi there - I'm Jenny.  Just a couple things about me...

  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 3 1/2 year-old on the planet.
  • One of my dogs sucks her thumb.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

Amanda is my cousin.  Since I last saw her, she has had three kiddos and I have had one.  We got to hang out at my Aunt's house last week while Lily and I were visiting my mom and spent the afternoon playing at the park with the kids and their awesome pup, Max.  Lily LOVED playing with her 'cuzzins' and I LOVE seeing family.  I want to do it more often.

Engagement Photography ~ Gasworks Park & Arboretum ~ Shaina & Jon

I'm so glad to have been able to meet up with Shaina & Jon for their engagement session last week.  Just as I was flying back into Seattle from my trip to see Nana Banana (next post), Shaina & Jon were flying out to head back home to Los Angeles.  They were up visiting family and working on some details for their big day this August.  We hung out at Gasworks Park for awhile and then headed up to the Arboretum for some fun on the walking bridge.  We had some good laughs and I'm thrilled to have gotten connected with them!  Here are a few of my faves...

Newborn Photography ~ West Seattle ~ Elise

Elise is just pure cuteness and after meeting her mom and dad, I totally see where she gets it from.  Their home in West Seattle is lovely and filled with natural light - LOVE!  We hung out in Elise's room and their sweet pup Cooper came sprinting up for a quick visit - check out the balancing act!  I loved getting to spend an afternoon with this wonderful family & can't wait to do it again!
