i see you, now you see me! Hi there - I'm Jenny.  Just a couple things about me...

  • I have an unhealthy, but happy relationship with caffeine and ice cream.
  • I am a total insomniac and I get a ton of work done at 3 a.m.
  • I have the coolest 3 1/2 year-old on the planet.
  • One of my dogs sucks her thumb.
  • Your photos are not about me or my 'art'.  I believe my job is to show your awesomeness.
  • There isn't one aspect of my job that I don't like.  I even feel weird calling it a 'job' sometimes.

I think it's important that you not only like your photographer's work, but that you actually like your photographer.

I am frequently taking pause to think on the things in this life that make me the most grateful...my family, my friends, my pups, having a warm home, a reliable car, a job that i once only dreamed of...

When I woke this morning, my baby girl had crawled in next to me.  My computer was on the nightstand (I am also thankful for the 'photo booth' program on my mac).

This little warm being is the best thing ever - just looking at her makes my heart feel like it might just burst.

Engagement Photography ~ Pioneer Square & Capitol Hill ~ Gina & Mike

Saturday was rainy, cold and totally a fun time with Gina & Mike!  They live on the other side of the pass, but came on over to Seattle for their engagement photos.  We hung out down in Pioneer Square - found some old bike tires in an alley (hula hoop time!) and then headed up to Capitol Hill to catch the last few minutes of light at Cal Anderson Park.  I'm so excited that Gina found me - they are such a fun couple and their wedding next year is going to be great.  Here are some of my faves from our afternoon...

Kali is super sweetness & Andrew is a very kind & charming tall drink 'o water...their wedding next February is going to be lovely.  We had some big fun in the rain and check out how awesomely Kali rocks those heels!  Here are just a few of my faves (way hard to pick)...
