Guess who I get to spend 4th of July with this year? The awesome duo that is Andrea & Colin, that's who! We hung out last week at Green Lake for some fun by the bleachers/grass/water/dock/awesome tree - totally looking forward to big fun with them this weekend!

To think Theresa & I almost rescheduled because of our weird & fickle Seattle weather on that Monday...we ended up with a great breeze and some really pretty sunlight after all! I met up with Kyle & Theresa at the park in Bellevue where Kyle proposed last 4th of July. We had some fun in the playground and in the grass together. I'm looking forward to their big day in September!

What can happen when an Egyptian family and a Latin family combine their cultures to create a wedding?? A totally wonderful party filled with love, friends, family and amazing music to dance to! We had beautiful blue skies for Ahmed & Lupe's big day so we headed to a Fremont park for their first look and family photos...I loved the random cyclists who would pass by and the underbelly of the Aurora bridge made for some cool lines...
this shot of the flower girl and one of the ring bearers reminded me of a 'first look' photo...
They had their Muslim ceremony at a local mosque the day before, so this day's event would be more focused on Lupe's family traditions with their reception giving everyone a taste of both cultures...the food, the music, the dances...such a fun experience and a REALLY fun party!!
