seattle birth photography ~ eastside birthing center ~ baby anna is born!
meet anna – this sweet little one is the baby sister of ava, whose birth i got to photograph three years ago (almost to the day!) – this was such a cool experience…same birthing center room, midwife, doula and then big sister ava came to visit just about an hour after anna was born…amazing…

monique and jannette’s wedding was filled with family, friends and lots of sweet kiddos. I really appreciated how their ceremony was filled with symbolism that was both old and new – you could really tell that both monique and jannette put a lot of thought into their day…

seattle courthouse and four seasons hotel wedding ~ melody and michael
it was such fun meeting melody and michael at the courthouse for their short and sweet ceremony a couple of weeks ago – melody’s mom and michael’s bff came as their witnesses. it was raining pretty hard that afternoon, but i thought the raindrops on the windows looked pretty cool…

seattle weddings, bump, babies, family, et al….2011 comes to an end…
it’s december 31st and i’ve been thinking about putting together a year end blog post for a few weeks now…this year was so full of fun and i am so grateful for the poignant moments that people have let me photograph. i can’t express my gratitude for such an amazing year, so i’ll just show you a few (cough, em, well 85…) images that stood out to me…hope you enjoy…if you can hang in there until the end there is a photo of my kid (she’s totally worth it.)
i’m so excited to see what 2012 has in store!

i had so much fun hanging out with lauren and her men last week – they were having a big party that night and making potato latkes for 25+ – we spend a little time out in front of their house goofing off before heading in a getting to some serious potato work!

i am seriously in love with all of my 2012 couples! gracie and chris are both so easy to spend time with – great sense of humor, they have a little rock star edge and are totally into each other. we snagged one of those beautiful sunny afternoons this week to take their engagement photos – big fun!

feeling some holiday spirit…
HO HO HO – feeling the holiday spirit and really looking forward to hearing from some couples that are getting engaged in the coming months…from today (12/19) until february 14th (yeah, i know, call me a sap), any couple that books a wedding package will receive a choice of either a 15 page custom guestbook with images from their engagement session or a GG fauxtobooth set up during their reception. ‘tell a friend’ kids and have a hap happ happy new year!
