I've been looking forward to this Saturday for over a year. Last June, I got to spend the day with Jenny & Nickolai while they got married. One year later, they came back to Seattle for their 'official' wedding and it was truly lovely. I arrived downstairs just as Jenny was getting her dress on...

I LOVE the mirror they have in the bride's room!

There was a vintage car show going on later that day and this cool guy was kind enough to let us play with his car for a bit...

All of the deserts they had were from Whole Foods - the cakes went so fast, I didn't even see them being put out! I thought I'd shoot the destruction anyway...wasn't the little vintage bride and groom cake topper super cute?
everyone enjoyed the personalized J&N crossword puzzle and just chatting with friends...the whole day was really sweet - congrats again Jenny & Nickolai!!

Kari - bubbly, high-energy, amazing with the kiddos...basically, the kind of chick you'd want in your court...

Brett - gentle, very kind and makes Kari beam...what more could you ask for?
I got to meet Kari & Brett at Emily(awesomesauce) and Kyle's super fun wedding day last year - love that!
We started the day at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club where all of the girls were getting their makeup and hair done...such a beautiful day in Olympia!
Kari had an family heirloom ring tied into the back of her gown...
everyone got to watch their 'first look' through the windows and then join us for some photo fun!
before the ceremony, we all piled into a Hummer limo and headed over to the Capitol buildings for family photos...my angle in the limo was a teensy limited, but I love this series of Kari's sister - she is such a hoot and totally digs her sis!
the ceremony at the Grand Holiday Ballroom was lovely, but I can honestly say that the kidlets in the wedding stole the show...between the cutie above giving me his best lounging pose and the other ring bearer 'digging for gold'...what a crack up!
while everyone made their way back over to Indian Summer for the reception, I got hang out with the couple and a golf cart...who doesn't like to put the 'pedal to the medal' in those?!
We then headed up to the reception where the awesome candy table had already been attacked...I love that their blow pops said 'U Rock'...and check out the bling on top of their cake!!
this is how I always look at cake...
DJ Jeff Hill kept that dance floor packed (as always!) and Jen Wade rocked our GG fauxtobooth big time! Click here to get your fauxtobooth pics...
a great time was had by all!

Kara is the kind of lady you want on your team - she has a kindness that just radiates from her and pretty much kicks butt at everything she does...including planning her wedding. I got to meet her and Ian via the awesome Gene & Jessica and have been looking forward to their wedding for so long! We started our day at the Marriott Waterfront where everyone was getting ready...
Kara got Ian cufflinks with their date on them and Ian got all of his groomsmen cufflinks with their initials on them...
Kara's mom Taylor just beamed with pride all day...
We all headed over to the Olympic Sculpture Park for their first look at each other and to have some fun with their wedding party...
I don't even know if Kara knew I saw her in those...
A party bus from Seattle Green Limo came to pick us all up and take us to the UW for some quick shots in front of Suzzallo Library before heading over to the Tennis Club...
After we got to the Tennis Club, the girls grabbed their flowers and we all headed to the dock for a couple shots before family photos...
One of the groomsmen played guitar for the processional and as always, Annemarie Juhlian delivered a lovely ceremony...
Their first dance was so sweet...
In addition to the yummy cake, they had make your own ice cream sundaes at each table - Kara gave me a big bite of hers - a girl who loves ice cream is a girl I want to hang out with!
While the girls were toasting their ice cream upstairs, the boys enjoyed some cigar out on the lawn...
What a wonderful night...
